Take the H-3 toward the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base (KMCBH) and take the first Kailua off-ramp after you pass the Kawai Nui Marsh. Cross Mokapu Blvd to the Kane'ohe-bound lanes (to the left) and get over into the right lane as you come down the other side of the hill, turning onto Kane'ohe Bay Drive at the first traffic light. Drive carefully - it's a very narrow and winding road with short visibility. After 0.6 miles, just after Kauinohea Pl., the road will suddenly widen out as it goes past Yacht Club Terrace and the grassy park on the right. STOP! You're there! There is street parking along the right side of the street.
Doug's house is at the end of a driveway going left up a short hill toward the ocean, directly opposite Hako Street, which goes into the Terrace. If you get to the Yacht Club driveway, you've gone too far. If you need to drop stuff off for the party, you can drive up the driveway to the parking lot at the top of the hill, but then turn around and go back down to K'Bay Drive to park.
If you miss the Kailua off-ramp, or if you just want to look at the sunset from the scenic points on H-3, you can go on to the Kaneohe Bay Drive exit, and head west 0.8 miles on the Drive until you see the Yacht Club on your right. Doug's driveway is the next "road" after that - about 100 yards.
See you there!
