Mark Ling, club member and member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, will give a presentation on the Auxiliaries’ Paddlecraft Safety Program called AUXPAD. AUXPAD’s Mission: To minimize accidents, injuries, and fatalities within the “Paddling Community.” By partnering with paddling clubs (e.g. HWK), organizations (e.g. ACA), and retailers (e.g. Go Bananas) …WE… can accomplish this goal together! Ultimately, reducing the dispatching of First Responders – Lifeguards, Firemen, and the U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue Team. Keynote speakers from the Coast Guard will be present.
