SUMMARY:Easter Meet & Greet
DESCRIPTION:We have a full day of kayaking activities for prospective members and their families. The activities begin at 8:00 am with an “Introduction to Kayaking” clinic that will teach paddling strokes\, proper PFD fitting\, basic safety and on-the-water capsize recovery. Bring your camp chair if you want to sit comfortably for the lecture portion of the clinic. \n\n\n\nAt 11:30 we’ll have our traditional kayak Easter egg hunt on the bay. Bring your kids (or borrow some) and create a memory they’ll never forget! If you bring kids make sure that each one has a properly sized PFD. (Walmart carries affordable children’s PFDs.) \n\n\n\nAfter the eggs are gathered we’ll enjoy a sumptuous potluck lunch. Bring a dish to share and your camp chair. The club is providing a sheet cake for the potluck so we don’t need many other desserts. We’ll have a jug of ice water\, but if you want anything else to drink bring it yourself. As we digest our feast we’ll give out egg hunt prizes. \n\n\n\nPlease leave the family pets at home as animals are not allowed in the park (registered service animals excepted). \n\n\n\nA limited number of loaner kayaks are available for this event. Please read and agree to our loaner kayak etiquette before asking to borrow a kayak. Contact the event organizer by Thursday\, 3/26\, if you want to borrow one. \n\n\n\nEvent Organizer:\n\n\n\n\n\nLaunch Location:\n\n\n\nDrive down the park road and take the right fork at the roundabout before the last parking lot. Drive around the partially closed gate to Campground “A”. Go to the end of the gravel road. We’ll be in the small group campsite past the outrigger canoes in the southwest corner of the park. The gate to the park opens at 7 am. \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n Gravel road to Campground A\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n Campground A\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n	Look Who's Coming!Sandy JohnsonWilliam MurphyTerry ShimabukuroThad SpregKimberly HowsleySusan WilcoxNikko Tiahrt-ConradDebi Lylestan dalbecMonte EliasStephen HarrisKathrin DelanoTomoe ContorelliRoger RudoffDenny ConradKelvin TomMark Ling\n	Attendance: 17 / 20\n	\n \n\n \n \n Registrations are closed for this event
