DESCRIPTION:This fun paddle takes you past Haleʻiwa\, Waialua and Mokuleia normally with a good tailwind to push you down the coast. This is a good run for sailing or kite flying. Surfers can zig-zag their way through the breakers along the way. If we’re lucky we’ll see the spinner dolphin pod that frequents Haleʻiwa. Meet by the Haleʻiwa war memorial at 8:30 AM. Carpool at 9:00 AM. – 8 mi. \n\n\n\nPaddle Leader:\n\n\n\n\n\nLaunch Location:\n\n\n\nPark near to the war memorial if possible. If not\, park in the lot at the beach park. \n\n\n\n\n\nLanding Location:\n\n\n\nRunway Beach. Just past the Dillingham Airfield\, before Camp Erdman. Meet at 8:30 am for a 9:00 am carpool. – 6 mi. \n\n\n\nPaddle Leader:\n\n\n\n\n\nLaunch Location:\n\n\n\nPark along Kam Hwy. Launch or land right behind the restroom and pavilion. \n\n\n\n\n\nLanding Location:\n\n\n\nMalaekahana State Recreation Area. Enter the Malaekahana State Recreation Area and park in the first parking lot (day use lot).
