SUMMARY:Easter Camp
DESCRIPTION:We’ll celebrate Easter a week early this year with a weekend camp filled with activities. We reserved the small group campsite at Kualoa Regional Park so we’ll have lots of room for club members and their guests to pitch a tent. You can camp from Friday and leave on Sunday after the potluck. \n\n\n\nCamping is for club members and their guests only. Non-members are welcome at the other weekend activities. \n\n\n\nRSVP on this page to reserve a space in the campsite. For all other Easter event RSVP on the separate event pages that will be held over the weekend. \n\n\n\nSat. 3-28\, 9:00am – Kualoa to Kahana Bay  Sun. 3-29\, 8:30am – Easter Meet & Greet \n\n\n\nEvent Coordinator:\n\n\n\n\n\nCamp Location:\n\n\n\nDrive down the park road and take the right fork at the roundabout before the last parking lot. Drive around the partially closed gate to Campground “A”. Go to the end of the gravel road. We’ll be in the small group campsite past the outrigger canoes in the southwest corner of the park. SUMMARY:Mālaekahana Camping
DESCRIPTION:Decompress after the busy holidays with a weekend of camping with the club at the Malaekahana State Recreation Area. There’s no agenda for the weekend except for Sunday’s Goat Island paddle. Do whatever you like kayak\, swim\, snorkel\, boogie-board\, surf\, fish\, beachcomb\, hike\, sunrise watch or just lie in a hammock.  \n\n\n\nEvent Coordinator:\n\n\n\n\n\nCampsite Location:\n\n\n\nDrive all the way in to the last parking area. SUMMARY:Christmas Party 2025
DESCRIPTION:This event is for club members and their guests only. \n\n\n\nWe’ll celebrate the holidays at the Hawaii Trail & Mountain Club clubhouse with our usual festivities: Potluck dinner\, Gift Exchange Melee\, Photo\, Video and Video Clip Contest and caroling. The party will be held mainly in the pavilion in the yard\, but there will be access to the main room upstairs in case of rain or snow. \n\n\n\nPupus and mingling starts at 4:30 pm. Potluck at 5:30 pm. \n\n\n\nWe’re going back to our traditional Gift Exchange Melee. We encourage recycling a gently used item for the gift. If you’re buying something new get something around a $20 value. Wrap the gift and bring it for a spirited grab bag exchange. \n\n\n\nIf you want to enter the photo or video contest here are the rules. The rules have changed this year so make sure you read them. You do not have to be present to win\, but a printed photo must be submitted. Photos and videos must have been taken after and including last year’s Christmas party. \n\n\n\nVoting will take place at the party\, but you can preview the videos before the party here. \n\n\n\nEveryone should bring a dish to share and your own drinks. Vegan dishes are welcome. Please put your name on your dishes and utensils. Be prepared to bring leftovers of your dish home. If you have potluck questions contact Eileen. \n\n\n\nSing-a-long Christmas Carols \n\n\n\nIf you want to get your vocal chords warmed up here are the carols we’ll be singing. We’ll also be doing an audience participation Hawaiian Twelve Days of Christmas hula. \n\n\n\nThe party is a great time to renew your club membership.
