DESCRIPTION:Cruise around what was left of historic Mokauea fishing village after they dug the seaplane runway thru it. Lots of mangroves\, a few old bunkers\, interesting seldom-visited areas of Ke‘ehi Lagoon. \n\n\n\nMeet at the Sand Island Boat Launch Facility at 9:00 for a 9:30 launch. – 3 to 4 mi. RT \n\n\n\nPaddle Leader:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLaunch Location:\n\n\n\nAlso called the Sand Island Boat Launch Facility near the Marine Education Training Center. Don’t park in the spaces for boat trailers. SUMMARY:Christmas Party
DESCRIPTION:This event is for club members and their guests only. \n\n\n\nWe’ll celebrate the holidays at the Hawaii Trail & Mountain Club clubhouse with our usual festivities: Potluck dinner\, Gift Exchange Melee\, Photo\, Video and Video Clip Contest and caroling. The party will be held mainly in the pavilion in the yard\, but there will be access to the main room upstairs in case of rain or snow. \n\n\n\nPupus and mingling starts at 5 pm. Potluck at 6 pm. \n\n\n\nWe’re going back to our traditional Gift Exchange Melee. Bring a gift up to a $20 value for a spirited grab bag exchange. \n\n\n\nIf you want to enter the photo\, video or video clip contest here are the rules. Photos and videos must have been taken after and including last year’s Christmas party. You do not have to be present to win\, but a printed photo must be submitted. \n\n\n\nEveryone should bring a dish to share and your own drinks. Vegan dishes are welcome.
