Cruise around what was left of historic Mokauea fishing village after they dug the seaplane runway thru it. Lots of mangroves, a few old bunkers, interesting seldom-visited areas of Ke‘ehi Lagoon.

Meet at the Sand Island Boat Launch Facility at 9:00 for a 9:30 launch. – 3 to 4 mi. RT

Also called the Sand Island Boat Launch Facility near the Marine Education Training Center. Don’t park in the spaces for boat trailers. Launch or land on the beach not the boat ramp.
