Hauʻula to Mālaekahana

This medium length paddle can be challenging because of potential large trade swells. If conditions allow you can get up close to several islets between Lai‘e Point and Mālaekahana. Meet at 8:30 am for a 9:00 am carpool. – 6 mi.

Launch Location:

Park along Kam Hwy. Launch or land right behind the restroom and pavilion.

Landing Location:

Malaekahana State Recreation Area. Enter the Malaekahana State Recreation Area and park in the first parking lot (day use lot). Bring your wheels to pull your kayak across a long grass field.
