Easter Meet & Greet

We have a full day of kayaking activities for prospective members and their families. The activities begin at 8:30 am with an “Introduction to Kayaking” clinic that will teach paddling strokes, proper PFD fitting, basic safety and on-the-water capsize recovery.

At 11:30 we’ll have our traditional kayak Easter egg hunt on the bay. Bring your kids (or borrow some) and create a memory they’ll never forget! If you bring kids make sure that each one has a properly sized PFD. (Walmart carries affordable children’s PFDs.)

After the eggs are gathered we’ll enjoy a sumptuous BBQ potluck lunch. As we digest our feast we’ll give out egg hunt prizes. A limited number of loaner kayaks are available for this event. Contact the event organizer if you want to borrow one.
