Magic Island to Keʻehi Lagoon

A south shore cruise along Kaka’ako and Sand Island. Landing at the beach near the Marine Education Training Center in Ke’ehi Lagoon. This is a great paddle for novices to test out paddling on the open ocean. No surf launch and landing.

Meet at the ramp in front of the Magic Island canoe hale at 8:30 for a 9:00 carpool. – 4.5 mi.

Park in the Magic Island parking lot or along Ala Moana Park Dr. Launch from the ramp across the road from the canoe hale.

Landing Location:

Ke’ehi Lagoon. Also called the Sand Island Boat Launch Facility near the Marine Education Training Center. Don’t park in the spaces for boat trailers. Launch or land on the beach not the boat ramp.
