Camping Update – Camping will be in the Large Group Campsite
A National Geographic film crew will be using the small group campsite until 6pm on Friday so the city moved us to the large group campsite. You can start setting up camp at 8 am on Friday. Please be respectful of individual campsites 2 & 3 and do not encroach on their space or steal their picnic tables.
The HWK Papio Fishing Tournament returns where the goal is to catch a big, but not too big fish. We reserved the small group campsite at Kualoa Regional Park for two days of kayak fishing. Don’t want to fish? That’s OK, club members are welcome to pitch their tents next to the fishermen for the weekend. The club will have a separate Turtletown paddle on Sunday. You can camp Friday and Saturday nights. Fishing starts on Saturday morning, continues on Sunday, with awards on Sunday afternoon.
Camping is for registered fishermen and club members only. Club members that want to camp should RSVP below.
