Pōkaʻī Bay to Mākua
July 26, 2026 @ 8:30 am – 2:00 pm

This is a mellow paddle on the calm, leeward coast. Going by World Famous Makaha surfing beach where there is also a turtle feeding station if anybody would like to take a dip and check out some honu. The mountains and valleys along here are gorgeous too. Hopefully it will be a light wind day on this shore which is usually sheltered from the wind. Nevertheless, the wind can pick up along here so be mentally prepared to deal with that possibility. It’ll be a good one!
Meet at 8:30 am for a 9:00 am carpool. Launch about 10:00 am. – 7.5 mi.
