Park in the Magic Island parking lot or along Ala Moana Park Dr. Launch from the ramp across the road from the canoe hale.

This event is for club members only.

Club members volunteer as safety escorts for the 2.4 mile Waikiki Roughwater Swim. Members will be positioned along the race route to direct or assist swimmers. Escorts will receive a long-sleeve rash guard for their service.

Kayakers will meet, assemble and be ready to launch from Magic Island’s canoe ramp by 7:30 am. There will be a mandatory meeting at 7:30 where you will be assigned a course position and receive your event shirt. We will launch and paddle to the race course after the meeting. Kayakers will be in their assigned positions by 8:15. Swimmers start the race at Kaimana Beach at 8:30.

Be prepared! Bring your radio, life vest, flotation device to aid swimmers (optional) and provisions for your comfort while sitting on the course. Bentos will be provided after the race at the beach fronting the Hilton Hawaiian.
